TESTIMONIALS
“
“Nicole has been an invaluable asset in self publishing my first book of poetry. Offering great advice on how to start the process of publishing a work of poetry and the various tools needed to ensure that it met the guidelines. The feedback and hands on approach of being a second eye contributed immensely to the finished product. This book of poetry is a compilation of poems from a husband to his wife. In short, it is a love story over a cubicle of time.”

BIO
It was in the Spring of 1996, when Nicole’s talent to write was first realized. At Tuscan Elementary School in Maplewood, NJ. Mrs. Baker, her fourth grade teacher assigned her class the task of writing a poem about the Spring. They were offered to read books to get ideas. But the words flowed through Nicole like a calm melody. She penned her first poem, “Bluebird, Oh Bluebird”. Through Mrs. Baker's encouragement and edifying it sparked a talent Nicole had not knew was present in her life. She continued writing, and since then, went on to self-publish a collection of poetry entitled, A Simple Place. Through this experience she had book signings and soon became a consultant for other writers who want to enter the self-publishing market. She has been an aid for more than five writers in the process and completion of their manuscripts. Along with writing, Nicole has also been teaching for 8 years in the New York City Charter School system. Currently, she works as a Special Education Coordinator at a high school in the Bronx, NY.
Lastly, she enjoys laughter and making others laugh wither her. She believes in the true saying, "a cheerful heart is good medicine..." (Proverbs 17:22). Not only has she been apart of the hilarious Church of Laugh comedy group, she also enjoys engaging in her comedy routine through her participation in improvisation classes. Through all the different roles she has been grateful to pursue, the one she enjoys the most is spending time with her family, her husband and son.
